Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Tuesday visited Abu Dhabi's Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (Umex).
Sheikh Mohamed visited several stands that were showcasing some of the most advanced dronetechnology in the world.
about 160 companies from 63 countries are displaying their products at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
“Today I visited the Umex and Simtex exhibitions in Abu Dhabi and was briefed on the latest innovations in unmanned systems technology, robotics and AI for the civil and defence sectors,” said Sheikh Mohamed on social media.
The UAE's Ministry of Defence signed three deals worth more than Dh966 million on the second day of the conference.
On the first day, three deals were signed worth more than Dh650m.
Among the main exhibitors is Abu Dhabi-based Edge, a conglomerate of two dozen defence companies.
